| Breedings & Litters
All owners may post their Wachtelhund litters, planned breedings and stud services in this forum. Members of the Deutscher Wachtelhund North American, Inc (DWNA) may advertise your breedings for free. Non - NAWC members may advertise their breedings with $50.00 fee.
All breedings should conform to VDW standards, no breeding with known faults and only after OFA or Penn hip certification. We recommend Elbow certification, since there has been a history of Elbow disease from the Vom Lake Agazziz bloodline in North America.
Also we request you complete the form at http://www.deutscherwachtelhund.org/Owner%20Form.htm for each of your Wachtelhunds, so we may enter them in the North American Wachtelhund data Base. | 13 | 46 | Wed May 27th, 2009 03:08 pm

Health Discussions: The sole purpose of this health Chat Section is for owners of dogs to document health problems they have had with their dogs and list the breeding lines so owners and potential owners of the breeds may do their own research and ask responsible questions of breeders before purchasing, or in breeding their Wachtelhunds to improve the genetic lines and eliminate health and genetic problems through selective breeding. This forum does not endorse or vouch for the authenticity of any information posted by forum members and that individuals concerned about breeding lines and possible genetic or health problems should conduct their own research as responsible individuals. Owners should not indicate genetic or health problems within a breeding line unless they have had those problems documented by a veterinarian, OFA certifications or other documentation by recognized Veterinarian organizations to aid in research by potential purchasers of the breed.
